Max- chapter 2

Here's the second part of it :D

Chapter: 2/22

A month later Hugh was back in States. He was just about to start shooting the next season. It was the first day on set and he knew everybody would already know that he filed for a divorce. So he prepared himself for questioning.

As soon as he got on the set, everybody started asking how he was.

“Are you ok?”

“If you need anything, I’m here for you”

“If you think you did the right thing, I’m with you”

“Do you have a good lawyer”

“What’s gonna happen with the kids?”

Luckily, he had an answer to everything. But he didn’t let them know that.

After the first scene Hugh took a break and sat in his chair. Soon after Lisa joined him.

“Hey…” was the first thing she said

“Hey… How have you been? I haven’t seen you in months” Hugh said with a smile forming on his face.

“Oh… Good…” she returned the smile “and you?”

“Well, you know divorce and everything…” he said with a low voice

“Yeah… I’m sorry about that…” she tried to comfort him, noticing a cameraman looking at them strangely.

“Do not feel sorry, Jo’s the one who made the wrong assumptions and the one that was jealous of something we didn’t have. So do not feel sorry.” Hugh returned with a little bit harsher tone. The cameraman was joined by a makeup artist.

“Yeah…” Lisa said almost whispering. There was a silence for a moment, nothing but the sounds of people from the set and cameraman and the makeup artist whispering not far away.

“How’s Max?” Hugh snapped after a while.

“Great. Just perfect. Everything’s going as it should be. Don’t you think so?” she answered, a smile creeping on her face.

“Well, as far as I’m concerned, everything’s fine.” He returned the smile and noticed David coming at them.

“Hey, you two are in the next scene, hurry up.” David, as producer, had to make sure everything was right.

“In a minute.” Hugh shouted at David who was already leaving.

“We better be going… Or we’ll have an angry Dave to take care of.” Lisa joked.

“Just take care of Max, everything else will come into its place.” Hugh smiled softly.

“Oh, I didn’t plan anything else.”

More tomorrow :DDD

Summary: Magazine article can mess up everything

“What the in bloody hell is this?” Jo walked in the room, furious, throwing a magazine at her husband. He quickly managed to get it, reading the front headline.

“A magazine, what would it be?” he said matter-of-factly.

“Cut the crap, Hugh. Are you having an affair with her?” the woman was still furious, and yelling.

“Don’t be ridiculous.” Hugh replied, positioning himself on the sofa, trying to watch TV.

“That is not an answer! Hugh, are you having an affair with Lisa?” she continued.

“No… of course not…” he said a little bit annoyed.

“Somehow I don’t believe you. Look at it! It says “Are Hugh and Lisa together behind the scenes as well?” .” Jo pointed out.

“So what, come on, how many times have we got through this?” Hugh asked, hoping he would settle down his wife.

“Not enough I can tell!” the woman started screaming again.

“Come on! Half of those stories you read aren’t true, you know that!” he was getting more annoyed every second.

“Well, I think this one might be true!” the woman continued. Hugh was getting really pissed.

“Ok, so next time you read “Hugh asking for a divorce”, believe it, cause it’s gonna be true.” He snapped at his wife.

“So, what, you’re getting a divorce now?” Jo was confused.

“As a matter of fact, I am.”

A/N: First chapter is always short XD
